Piezoresistive Pressure Sensor is a kind of pump pressure sensor which is made of integrated circuit technology and piezoresistive effect of monocrystalline silicon material, also known as diffused silicon piezoresistive pressure sensor. Under the action of force, the resistivity of monocrystal silicon material changes, and the change of force output by measuring the circuit can be proportional. It directly senses the measured pressure of the pump pressure sensor through the silicon diaphragm, which is different from the paste strain gauge that indirectly senses the external force through the elastic sensing element. Piezoresistive effect of piezoresistive pressure sensor used to describe the change of resistance of Water Pump Pressure Sensor under mechanical stress is based on piezoresistive effect. Different from piezoelectric effect, piezoresistive effect only produces impedance change without charge. Most metal and semiconductor materials have been found to have piezoresistive effect, the piezoresistive effect in semiconductor materials is much larger than that in metal materials, and the application of water pump pressure sensor piezoresistive element made of silicon becomes very important, because silicon is the main raw material of today's integrated circuits.
