The Exhaust Fuel Pressure Sensor is fixed to a bracket on the engine (to prevent excessive temperature). The exhaust fuel Pressure Sensor is connected to the exhaust manifold by a hose and a pipe. The digital diesel engine electronic servo control system uses the signal of exhaust Gas Pressure Sensor and exhaust gas temperature sensor to control the regeneration of particulate filter. The exhaust gas pressure sensor measures the pressure in the exhaust system behind the oxidized exhaust gas catalyst converter. If the exhaust pressure is higher than the allowable 750mbar overpressure, the digital diesel electronic servo control system starts the regeneration of the particulate filter (exceeding the particulate filter load). In the exhaust pressure sensor, a diaphragm converts the exhaust pressure into a stroke. This stroke is converted from four varistors to a voltage signal, and the exhaust gas pressure sensor has a measuring range of 0.6 to 2.0bar(absolute), corresponding to a 1.875 to 4.5V voltage exhaust pressure sensor connected with a 3-pin plug. The sensor is supplied by the engine control system with a voltage of 5V. Information about exhaust pressure is transmitted to engine control via a signal line. The effective signal of exhaust gas pressure fluctuates according to pressure changes.
