Product description

Diesel Pressure Sensor is a diaphragm strain measuring device whose resistance varies with pressure. The varying resistance affects the voltage drop on the sensor terminals and provides an electrical signal corresponding to the pressure to the powertrain control module (PCM). Often, a bad or faulty diesel sensor will produce symptoms that can alert drivers to potential problems. For example :Hard start. Power is down. Check engine indicator is on. The Rail Pressure Sensor signal voltage is too high. Possible symptoms: The fault light is on, the oil rail pressure relief valve is opened, and the maximum output torque and acceleration of the engine are limited. Possible cause: The signal voltage of the rail Pressure Sensor exceeds 4.8V. Check whether the signal voltage terminal 214 (A26) of the rail pressure sensor is open. 2. Use a multimeter to measure the voltage of pin 2. The normal voltage is 4.9-5.1V. 3. Check that the signal voltage end of the rail pressure sensor is short-circuated at terminal 214 to the pool. 4. Turn off the ignition switch, unplug the ECU end 2, open the ignition switch, use a multimeter to measure the resistance between the ECU harness end 213(A07) and 214(A26), the normal is infinite.
