The sensors on the electrical control diesel engine are roughly divided into three types: Diesel Pressure Sensor, temperature sensor, speed and position sensor. There are about ten species such as Hydraulic High Pressure Sensor. Today, I will introduce to you the necessary sensors for most electrical diesel engines.
1. Fuel temperature sensor Provide the fuel temperature signal to the ECU, which is generally set in the second -level fuel filter cover. The ECU will adjust the pulse width of the single injector of the single injector according to the temperature change of the fuel. Because the fuel expands with the increase of the temperature, it will cause the engine power to decrease.
2. Cooling temperature sensor It is used to provide an engine coolant temperature signal to the ECU. This sensor can be used to trigger the protection function of automatic reduction of the engine rate. Like the oil pressure and oil degree of oil, the engine is shut down when the temperature exceeds the temperature of the coolant. Many heavy trucks now use this sensor to control the cooling air outline.
3.Intake Manifold Absolutely Pressure Sensor To indicate the air temperature in the air pipe to the ECU, the ECU will adjust the width of the oil spray pulse according to the intake temperature to control the emission.
4. Machine oil temperature sensor Always indicate the oil temperature of the engine to the ECU. Generally, the ECU and engine protection function can provide the same protection characteristics when the pressure of the oil is too low. When the temperature of the oil exceeds the normal safety limit, the yellow alarm light on the dashboard will be lit. When the temperature of the oil further increases to the preset temperature limit, the engine shutdown function will be triggered. After that, the engine will be triggered. It will stop running like the pressure of the oil. Many electronic control engines, especially in the cold temperature, will enable the ECU to enter fast idle control when the cold temperature is. Essence This signal will make ECU change the time of fuel injection PWM to control the white smoke emissions during the cold state of the engine. After the oil temperature or cooling liquid temperature reaches the preset limit or the prescribed engine operation time, the idling speed of the engine will automatically return to normal.
